Mindfulness for Children and Young People
This programme is an introduction to mindfulness, with a strong emphasis on experiential learning. It focuses on cultivating the foundations of mindfulness: intention, attention and attitude. In addition, they learn to cultivate gratitude, handle difficult thoughts and emotions, and finally develop kindness towards themselves and others. Importantly, the key foundations of mindfulness – i.e. paying attention to the present moment with openness, curiosity and warmth – are continually strengthened throughout all sessions.
The full programme consists of 16 one hour sessions.
In addition, this programme is also available to schools and as a one-to-one or group session for children and young people. Please contact Ann on 07807 767600 or email email@example.com for more information.

Everyone is welcome. These Mindfulness Meditation sessions take place on the second Wednesday of each month (morning or evening).
Introduction to Mindfulness
Consisting of three two-hour workshops held over three weeks; it is designed as a standalone introduction to mindfulness for beginners or as a bridge to the Mindfulness Now 8-week course.
The workshops will cover some of the key elements of both Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT); the latter which is recognised by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) for the prevention of relapse in current depression.
Each week we will focus on key themes including; mindful breathing; living with stress, anxiety and depression; making positive changes to our lives and kindness and compassion. We will also look at mindful attitudes. You will also be encouraged to complete home practice each week.
This course is also available as a one-day course.
Cost: £100 with manual and three recorded meditations to support home practice. Please contact Ann on 07807 767600 or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
