Ann Baxendale
Hi, I’m Ann.
I am a qualified Mindfulness Practitioner and Teacher for adults, children and young people and adolescents. In addition, I am also a qualified Wellbeing Life Coach, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Practitioner, Advanced Grief Recovery Specialist and Hypnotherapist.
I start each day with mindfulness practice and see first-hand the benefits and indeed the difference it has made in my life. I want to share this experience with others.
I have worked in both the private and public sector in corporate marketing and communications, with a key focus on employee communications and engagement. I also have experience of working in Equality and Diversity and been lucky enough to have had the opportunity to work with some of our local community groups and partner organisations.
When my last employer offered me the opportunity to attend a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course I jumped at the chance and I have never looked back. My own experience of mindfulness inspired me to give up my career and become a mindfulness practitioner and teacher; adding this to the portfolio of therapies I already practice.
I am now exceedingly fortunate in being able to support local people, organisations, schools, charity groups etc; sharing my knowledge and passion for mindfulness, emotional intelligence and resilience - assisting them in balancing their mind and body and improving their health and wellbeing...
I currently deliver a Practical Mindfulness Training Programme online, on behalf of the NHS Midlands Partnership Foundation Trust Wellbeing and Recovery College.
As a member of the local community I am a Community Panel Member for the West Mercia Youth Justice Service and share my experience of mindfulness by volunteering with The Jayne Sargent Foundation; supporting people affected by cancer locally.
